Learnt a new photoshopping technique to accentuate small parts of a photo. It took a while, bit fiddly, but I enjoyed the process so much that I used the photo on two layouts, and will probably use it again, I like it so much!
The technique involved duplicating the photo layer, adjusting the colour levels in the top layer to black and white, increasing the contrast, then using the eraser tool to "rub out" just the insect. It revealed the colour layer beneath it. Like I said, fiddly, but fun.
Then spent the rest of the day in hospital emergency because Riley fractured/dislocated his wrist, poor little brave boy. Lots of xrays and waiting around, but he's ok now - the poor little thing adjusted to his sling, no sweat.
It'd be a great help if you voted on which LO you liked best, and why - I couldn't decide, but I think it's the white one - been going for "less is more" designs lately. What do you think?
